White Oak – White oak is another type of oak wood, but compared to its red countertop, this has a more subtle graining pattern and a more golden color. It is also stronger and more durable compared to red oak. This type of wood is typically quarter sawn when used for kitchen cabinetry. Its warm color makes it well suited for traditional kitchen styles, particularly Craftsman style kitchens. White oak is commonly offered only as a custom material option for kitchen cabinetry.
For spaces with where wall obstacles that prevent you from using full cabinet depth options, base cabinets are often reduced in 3″ intervals down to 12″ D as required. Standard widths for base cabinets start at 9″ W with 3″ intervals up to 36″ W
