Common kitchen cabinet hardware may be classified into three general groups, namely knobs, pulls or handles and cup and bin pulls. Cabinet knobs are attached to kitchen cabinet doors using only a single screw. It is also available as one piece chic comes with built in screws and two piece with has a separate fastener and top.
Pulls and Handles – Cabinet pulls or handles essentially have the same purpose as the knobs, but are larger in size and more elongated in form. These are attached to cabinets using double screws, but other designs may require more. The standard size for kitchen cabinet pulls is 4 inches long, but this may go higher. Longer or oversized cabinet pulls are commonly used in modern and contemporary kitchen styles.
